New industry event thinkfood LIVE aims to ignite the food and beverage space

Coming to Sydney in 2023, thinkfood LIVE is set to bring unique ideas to the food and beverage world, shake up the NPD space, and connect industry professionals.

A unique industry event, thinkfood LIVE, is planning to ignite the food and beverage space with new, exciting ideas and contacts. Bringing food professionals and suppliers together, it’s hoped thinkfood LIVE will kickstart new product development (NPD), and breathe life back into existing products in the industry.

Taking place on 25-26 October 2023 at Carriageworks, Sydney, Diversified Communications (parent company of Mumbrella) – who leads in food and beverage events including foodpro, Fine Food Australia, FoodTech QLD, Naturally Good and Hospitality Unites – will work with leading associates AIFST and AIP to develop a quality content program that will support NPD trends.

Diversified Communications commercial director, food, Siobhan Rocks says: “This event concept is unique to Australia so it’s an exciting and innovative opportunity for all to connect. We have developed this forum due to overwhelming demand from businesses eager to connect with the right channels to take their new product development to the next level.”

“There will be exhibiting experts in all key areas covering everything from consumer insights and packaging, to design agencies and test kitchens”, Rocks says. “There will be a key focus on ingredients and flavour houses, who can help emerging and established businesses curate the perfect launch pad for their new product or brand.”

Speaking on the NPD space, Rocks says: “We can’t wait to bring manufacturers and suppliers together to collaborate on the next generation consumer products.”

The event will begin with an exclusive networking launch party, on 30 November 2022, at Carriageworks, for suppliers, food and beverage manufacturers, key industry partners, and media.

Becky Mead, managing director of PLAY, will be the keynote speaker at the launch party. PLAY has assisted thousands of FMCG manufacturers create successful products by unearthing insights and innovation across the NPD process. As an expert in consumer-led innovation, Mead will be presenting the topic: How to predict FMCG trends without going around the bend.
