Nine’s Australian Open night 4 won entertainment on Thursday night as the network also celebrated another overall network share win.
The fourth night of the tennis tournament, which saw Nick Kyrgios lose to Danill Medvedev in a four-set loss in the second round, aired to 886,000 metro viewers. The game also won all three key advertising demos.

Next in entertainment was Ten’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here which pulled in 535,000 metro viewers, followed by an episode of Border Security on Seven which aired to an average audience of 473,000.
Seven’s The Chase Australia had 468,000, while the network’s Mates On A Mission brought in 373,000 metro viewers.

The #1 program on Thursday was Seven News which aired to 967,000 metro viewers, while Seven News at 6:30 had 900,000 metro viewers, and Nine News on 874,000.
As mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 37.6 over Seven’s 23.8%, while Ten had a 17.8% share, and the ABC took a 13.5% share.
Nine also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Thursday was 7Mate with a share of 4.1%.
In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 13 January, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 965,000 viewers, including 29,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 4%.
The program with the biggest uplift however was an episode of Ten’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here with an uplift of 26% and had a total of 735,000 viewers overall, and BVOD audience of 89,000 nationally.
