Nicole McInnes steps down as WooliesX marketing director

Former Pandora and eHarmony marketing director Nicole McInnes has left Woolworths after seven months.

McInnes took the role of marketing director at Woolworths’ digital arm, WooliesX, in September last year.

Nicole McInnes was appointed by WooliesX to help execute their strategy and ambition.

At the time of her appointment, Faye Illhan, Woolworths’ general manager of eCom sales and digital innovation, said in a statement to Mumbrella: “I am simply delighted to have such a high calibre marketer such as Nicole join the team. Her amazing skills and breadth of experience will help us to achieve our WooliesX strategy and ambition.”

McInnes took up her previous role at eHarmony in May 2016 following her abrupt resignation from music streaming service Pandora a few weeks after committing Pandora as a major sponsor of Nine’s talent show The Voice.

Woolworths confirmed McInnes had left the company but would not comment any further on her departure or whether the grocery chain was searching for a replacement.
