Nine MSN hires content supremo Todd Forest

Nine MSN has made a senior appointment into the new role of director of content and audience experience.  

Todd Forest Nine MSNThe job – which will involve managing Nine MSN’s content team and reporting in directly to CEO Joe Pollard – has been given to Todd Forest, until recently with AOL in the US as VP of its media networks. Prior to his seven years at AOL, Forest was GM (APAC) with Jobfox and before that a strategic planner with Nike in the US.

Pollard said: “Todd has proven ability in leading product innovation, understanding consumer needs and motivating team members. Todd brings with him a wealth of international experience in developing great digital content and an innovative and strategic approach for our business. Todd’s focus will be on overseeing audience and increasing engagement across ninemsn and given the importance of his remit, we have also doubled our internal resources in research.”

Forest said“Developing innovative content that really connects with consumers is something I’m extremely passionate about.”

NineMSN also announced the promotion of head of strategy Nicholas Gray to national sales director, reporting in to commercial director Kerry McCabe. Gray will manage all of NineMSN’s Australian sales teams covering display, performance, video and mobile.”

McCabe said: “After a three‐month, global search I am confident we have secured the strongest person for the role.”
