Nine News Brisbane offers a Kiwi twist to Australia Day
Like all true blue, fair dinkum Australians, Dr Mumbo loves to claim New Zealand’s best as products of The Lucky Country – think Phar Lap, Pavlovas, Split Enz and, on his good days, Russell Crowe.
So Dr Mumbo was delighted to see Brisbane’s Nine News adopt the New Zealand flag for an Australia Day story earlier this week.
It’s just as well the story was about a ‘twist on traditions’ this Australia Day.
