Nine to go daily with The Celebrity Apprentice

Nine is to strip The Celebrity Apprentice across weeknights in what is believed to be a world first for the franchise.

The Mark Bouris-hosted reality show – featuring the likes of Pauline Hanson, Max Markson, Julia Morris, Jason Coleman and Jesinta Campbell – goes to air from Monday October 24, the network has announced.

The Celebrity Apprentice will feature team challenges on Monday and Wednesday nights, with the boardroom showdown “You’re Fired” episodes featuring a contestant being evicted from the losing team on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Friday nights will see a behind-the-scenes show.

Filming of the show, which is being produced by Fremantle Media –  has already reached the half way point.  

With the celebrities participating in various challenges mainly around Sydney, the show has already gained a great deal of publicity.

The Apprentice fomat runs in more than 20 countries including big ratings hits in the UK and US.
