Nine’s AO draws in 522k metro viewers on Thursday amid calls for schedule change

The Australian Open’s day four evening play on Nine topped entertainment on Thursday night, with  522,000 metro viewers, amid calls from players to change the schedule as one match stretched until 4am today.

The night session on Thursday saw Alex De Minaur (Australia) playing against Adrian Mannarino (France), followed by Thanasi Kokkinakis (Australia) against Andy Murray (Great Britain). The latter finished at 4.05am on Friday after six hours.
