No Aussie brands make the cut in YouGov’s 2024 ‘recommend rankings’
American beer giant Budweiser has taken the top spot in YouGov Australia’s Recommend Rankings for 2024, with a score of 90.0%.
The list reveals the brands with the best recommendation scores from current brand customers, according to BrandIndex, with luxury watch label Rolex claiming second place with 89.6%, followed by car manufacturer Toyota with 88.1%.
It is developed based on BrandIndex’s ‘recommend’ metric – the percentage of a brand’s customers who would recommend it to a friend or colleague between June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024.
If you believe this nonsense from YouGov (which has nothing to do with government by the way) I have the harbour bridge to sell you.
Looks like bots like Budweiser and Rolex… Bots in research panels are going to become a bigger issue for industry.

Good doesn’t mean liked or bought? Otherwise the brands your mum buys at the local market would to this list.
wouldn’t trust this as far as i could through it. look at some of the other countries too.

Surely a lack of robust sample size here… Budweiser no # 1, followed by Rolex. I suspect this has been analysed on a very, very low sample/base?
