Nova and Classic Rock to broadcast from Australian Open

The Australian Open has renewed its partnership with DMG Radio Group’s Nova 100 and Classic Rock FM.

The announcement:

Nova 100 and Classic Rock 91.5FM today announced the stations’ renewal of their partnership with the Australian Open as the official FM Radio Stations for the second consecutive year.

Following this year’s successful relationship with Australian Open 2010, Nova 100 and Classic Rock 91.5FM will take the fun and excitement of Australian Open 2011 to the next level.

Nova 100 will deliver tennis audiences the best live music acts on Grand Slam Oval for the entire Australia Open 2011 including a host of bands and performers, from established names to new hot bands, along with great live DJs.

Nova 100’s Hughesy and Kate will kick off Australian Open 2011 with a live broadcast in breakfast on Day One while Dylan Lewis in mornings (9am to 12pm) and Jody McLeod in afternoons (12 to 4pm) will broadcast from Grand Slam Oval weekdays throughout Australian Open 2011.

Classic Rock 91.5FM will conduct a number of promotions with Australia Open 2011 including giving away tickets so listeners can enjoy this exciting Melbourne event.

Nova announcers will also play a role in the station’s relationship with Australian Open 2011 (further details to follow).

Nova 100 and Classic Rock 91.5FM will also keep listeners up to date on everything happening on and off the court throughout the Australian Open.
