Nova in music and news management moves

DMG’s radio group has made several new staff changes.

The announcement:

Denee Savoia has been promoted to News Director, Nova 969.

Denee started at Nova in 2003 as a journalism student doing work experience and was offered a job working as the traffic reporter for Merrick and Rosso. She went on to get a part-time role with the station then moved onto to full time reporting for Nova 969 until 2009 when she became the Drive Newsreader. At the end of last month (December 2010) Denee was promoted to News Director, Nova 969, taking over from Monique Dews, who has stepped back from the role to spend more time with her young family.
