Nova’s drive team hit the road
Ryan, Monty and Wippa – Nova’s national drive time team – will take the the show on the road as they tour the Northern Territory.

This week Nova’s national Drive show Ryan, Monty & Wippa are embarking on an outback adventure to the Northern Territory.
Ryan, Monty & Wippa will spent several days in the Northern Territory experiencing outback life, chatting to the locals and broadcasting LIVE from Darwin’s Shenanigans pub on Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 6pm (2.30pm to 4.30pm local NT time).
The guys are taking some listeners along for the outback experience of a lifetime. Six listeners have been hand-picked for the special skills they can offer to make the outback adventure awesome.
While in Darwin Ryan, Monty & Wippa will experience the local sights including:
•A strip fishing challenge
•UFO spotting with Alan from ufoterritory.com.au
•Co-hosting the local radio station
•Taking a celebrity tour of Darwin – it’s dedicated to Jess Mauboy
•Checking out the crocodile jumping (yes, in the outback!)
•Hitting the Mindel markets at dusk and the local nightclubs by night
• And no trip to the outback would be complete without dropping in to a local bar for Tits Out Tuesday where ladies drink free if they flash their assets!
Ryan, Monty & Wippa will spend two days experiencing the outback life to gain an insight into what it’s like to be Keeping Up With the Joneses…without half a million cattle, 10,000 crocs, 42 helicopters, danger or hard work… although the guys do enjoy a stubbie!
The idea came about from Network Ten’s new doco, Keeping up with the Joneses, a series that reveals for the first time the incredible work and lifestyle on the largest heli-mustering operation in Australia. The series shows remote Northern Territory’s changing seasons, the resilient characters and the emotions involved in doing one of the most dangerous jobs in Australia.
