Nunn Media wins regional media account for Silversea Cruises

Independent agency Nunn Media has won the integrated strategy, planning and media buying account for upmarket cruise line Silversea following a competitive pitch.

The remit will cover Silversea’s media in Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia region.

The appointment comes at a pivotal time for the Royal Caribbean-owned cruise line as it prepares to resume sailing after months of enforced suspension amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Silversea director of marketing Liz Glover said: “With the long awaited return to travel, specifically cruising, Silversea needed an agency partner with extensive travel and luxury sector experience and an understanding of our audience and how to reach them.

“Nunn Media clearly demonstrated these capabilities and demonstrated a flexibility in their approach as we look forward to welcoming passengers back onboard in the Asia Pacific.”

Nunn Media managing director Chris Walton added: “Silversea Cruise have clear ambitions to significantly grow its brand in key markets across the region and a clearly defined strategy on how to achieve this.

“The team have already started work with Silversea to bring our insights and experience to bear to help them realise their goals.”

The win for Nunn Media follows the acquisition in October of performance agency, Alley.
