Australian actor and TV presenter Dan MacPherson has signed with the Interpublic Group’s sport and marketing agency Octagon to build his commercial opportunities.
As MacPherson’s second agency, Octagon has signed the former Neighbours star and host of Channel Seven’s Dancing with the Stars, in a strategic partnership with talent agency Morrissey’s.
Octagon will use research tools to find brand associations for MacPherson, who is also a triathlete and Ironman competitor.
Samsung, MasterCard and Swisse are among brands Octagon has worked with in recent years, as well as celebrities and media personalities including Ivanka Trump and Piers Morgan.
MacPherson said: “I’ve always had great representation when it came to professional gigs. Now, as my career continues to expand and opportunities arise in so many different forms, the commercial side becomes more important. So I wanted to add a new dimension to my team – experts in this area.”
