Officeworks says ‘EOFYthing’ could be tax deductible in end of financial year campaign

Officeworks is looking to capitalise on the upcoming end of the financial year with its ‘EOFYthing’ campaign.

The ‘EOFYthing’ campaign features different people shopping at Officeworks for various products and discovering everything they buy could be tax deductible.

Created by AJF Partnership, Officeworks and H&R Block have also created an online ‘Tax Deduction Calculator’.

Karl Winther, marketing manager at Officeworks, said in a statement: “Our research shows that only 40% of Australian business owners are taking advantage of opportunities that maximise their tax benefits, so our activity is centred around helping them better understand and capitalise on EOFY.

“EOFY can be a complicated period for customers, but we’ve made it less so with ‘EOFYthing could be tax deductible’, which provides them a little encouragement to invest in their business before June 30.”
