Ogilvy wins Wotif’s creative and PR account

Accommodation website Wotif has appointed Ogilvy Australia and New Zealand to handle its creative, strategy, social media, content and public relations accounts.

Ogilvy Brisbane will lead the account working with Ogilvy Sydney and Ogilvy Auckland to develop Wotif’s brand.

David Fox, Ogilvy Australia’s CEO, said the agency has pulled together a specialist team from across the Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland offices to cater to the Wotif account.

“Ogilvy’s ability to provide both traditional and innovative media executions across a broad spectrum of geographic locations is something we’ve worked hard to establish, and something that is now really paying dividends.

“We’re an agency that believes brands earn their relevance by delivering audience value at every touchpoint – emotionally, functionally, en masse and at a personal level.”

Earlier this week WPP also created a bespoke offering to service Telstra’s consumer PR account drawing on talent from across the group.

Amanda Behre, director of brand marketing and communications, added: “We were impressed by Ogilvy’s ability to provide creative executions which align with our requirements and needs across
a range of channels.”
