OMD and Millmaine strike strategic alliance

Full service arts and entertainment agency Millmaine has struck a deal with  OMD that will see the Omnicom media agency handle billings, reconciliation and credit insurance. OMD takes over these duties from Starcom MediaVest Group after a review.

The announcement:

Millmaine and OMD today announced a strategic alliance agreement, which will see Millmaine move all of its billings, reconciliation and credit insurance to OMD commencing May 2011.

Peter Simpson, Chief Executive of Millmaine commented on the alliance by saying “After reviewing a number of partner candidates, we were impressed by OMD’s depth of capability and feel that our clients will benefit from their expertise in areas such as research, social and content leverage. We felt there was a good cultural fit, and were encouraged by the flexibility they were able to demonstrate in supporting how we service the entertainment industry”.
