OPR wins Melbourne Fashion Week account

WPP’s OPR has won the City of Melbourne’s Melbourne Fashion week account.

Melbourne Fashion Week runs for eight days, commencing at the end of August, and includes over 150 events.

Melbourne Fashion Week runs from August 31 to September 7

Jacquie Potter, managing director at OPR Melbourne, said in a statement: “More and more we are hearing our clients’ need for creative storytelling and we’re excited to be able to showcase our thinking to bring to life the various narratives around Melbourne Fashion Week, to drive great outcomes that engage our target audiences.”

Potter was promoted to managing director last month from her previous role as business director.

Richard Brett, CEO at OPR said the Melbourne team was going from strength to strength.

“The OPR Melbourne team continues to add to their exciting client line up with the addition of Melbourne Fashion Week. Our team really understands how to work with organisations to create compelling stories that deliver business impact,” he said.

“We are excited to see what the rest of the year delivers and how we can push ourselves even further strategically and creatively.”

In December last year Brett was promoted from deputy CEO to CEO of OPR.

In June, OPR rebranded from Ogilvy PR and dropped out of the Ogilvy Worldwide network.

OPR’s clients include Xbox, Visit Victoria, Range Rover and Ford.
