Pamela Klioufis becomes Australian boss of WPP’s newly merged PR agency Burson Cohn & Wolfe
WPP’s newly created PR agency Burson Cohn & Wolfe, has announced its market leaders who will be responsible for the growth of the agency across Asia-Pacific, naming Pamela Klioufis as the Australian market leader.
WPP merged two of its communications agencies, Burson-Marsteller and Cohn & Wolf, to form Burson Cohn & Wolfe in February earlier this year.
Klioufis will now become Burson Cohn & Wolfe’s Australian market leader after holding the managing director title at Burson Marsteller for over two years.
This is the first move the newly formed Burson Cohn & Wolfe has made in the Australian market since the merger.
Matt Stafford, APAC president at Burson Cohn & Wolfe, said in a statement: “Our market leaders – an impressive line-up comprising some of the best talent from both agencies – are now in place, most of our teams have already begun to move into the same office, and we are combining our resources to provide even greater value to our clients.
“As someone who has worked at both Burson-Marsteller and Cohn & Wolfe, I know that the combination of their complementary capabilities will make the new BCW such an attractive place of work for our employees and an even stronger IMC partner to our clients.”
Global CEO at Burson Cohn & Wolfe, Donna Imperato, added: “he successful track records and proven expertise of BCW’s leadership team in the Asia-Pacific region will propel us towards our goal of becoming the preeminent integrated communications agency in the world.”
