Parker & Partners has appointed Nicole Quinn as new director of government relations.
The announcement:
Nicole Quinn has been appointed Director, Government Relations for Australia’s leading public affairs agency, Parker & Partners, part of Ogilvy PR Australia. She will head Parkers’ Canberra operations.
Nicole brings a wealth of experience to the role, with over 25 years advising in executive management, advocacy and stakeholder relations at the Federal Government level within the areas of defence, national security, technology and business.
Most recently, she was General Manager at Institute For Regional Security and was responsible for repositioning the strategic direction of the organisation, as well as achieving its status as a Scientific Research Institute.
Nicole has served on several boards and is currently a Director of the Sir Richard Williams Foundation. She has won a number of awards for her work, including in 2009 a Chief of Defence Force Commendation – presented by Sir Angus Houston when Chief of the Australian Defence Force.
Nicole has done brilliant work as GM for the Institute For Regional Security, applying exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, adept senior stakeholder management skills and great initiative in her dealings within the National and Regional Security community. Our loss is Parker and Partners gain. Keep an eye on her; she will do great things in future.
