Pay TV appoints policy manager
The Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) has appointed Simon Curtis as manager of policy and regulatory affairs.
“Simon’s wealth of experience in legislation development and managing legislative processes will further inform our activities and assist us as we work to improve the regulatory environment for our industry,” said CEO Petra Buchanan.
The one-year contract position will see Curtis workin on influencing policy and regulatory strategy for the subscription television industry and work with industry bodies and external groups, supporting the needs of ASTRA members.
Curtis recently worked on digital TV policy for the Department of Braodband, Communications and the Digital Economy.
