Pet Blogger Awards add advertising categories
The first Australian Pet Blogger Awards, presented by Four Paws PR, has broadened its reach to include three advertising categories.
The awards, to be hosted in Sydney by Kerri-Anne Kennerley on Friday November 29, is searching for the best blogs about pets, pet app developers, pet websites and social media sites and now pet or pet related advertisements in print, digital and TV and radio.
The ads nominated do not have to be for pet products, they can be an ad for a non-pet product which includes pets in the campaign.
Four Paws launched earlier this year.
Winners of the awards chose a pet welfare organisation to which to donate their prize. The three advertising categories will be judged by experienced advertising industry members.
“I think it’s a really great opportunity for agencies to be put in front of all the major pet brands,” Four Paws boss Louise Lees said.
Entries close on November 15.
