Peters Ice Cream appoints Spark Foundry to $10m media account
Publicis Media’s Spark Foundry has won Peters Ice Cream’s media account.
Mumbrella understands Initiative were also involved in the pitch process for the $10m media account.
Spark Foundry won the account from incumbent agency Zenith, another Publicis agency.
Peters’ brands include Drumstick, Proud & Punch, Icy Pole, Connoisseur, Maxibon, Frosty Fruits, and Peters Original.
Sue Squillace, Spark Foundry Australia CEO, said in a statement: “This is a great result for us and we are so excited to be working with the team at Peters. This is a testament to our people and culture and more importantly our approach to the communications that we developed for Peters.”
Emma-Jane Collins, director of marketing, sales and product technology at Peters Ice Cream, added: “We are delighted to continue our venerable partnership with Publicis Media.
“Spark Foundry shares many of our values. Sue, (managing director) Peter Butler, (group account director) Kate Provan, and the Spark Foundry team demonstrate a passion to find new ways to improve our business and excite the market.”

Given the social media activity of the Initiative exec team over the last week I can see why they would choose someone else..
When will these people learn . Terrible example to hardworking staff and even worse to clients who are already sceptical .

It’s disraceful. Jumping all over statues ( any idea the symbolism of that piece of art ??) in a foreign city at 2am. Completely disrespectful to the locals.
Way to show the best of Australian media.
Clients should be made aware of what they’re funding
