PHD and Brave create cricket work for Ashes tie-in

Media agency PHD has been briefed by Cricket NSW to make the most of the forthcoming Ashes contest to bring more children into the sport.  

cricket-nsw-heroes-were-kids-onceThe agency has worked with creative shop Brave to develop a platform around the “heroes were kids once” idea, with the aim of getting parents to enrol their children into local cricket clubs.

The media buy includes local outdoor around sports centres, TV spots during  The Ashes and tactical uses of print and online . 

 The outdoor starts next month, with TV and press commencing in mid August.

The brief comes after a number of wins for PHD including Fitness First and insultation firm Pink Batts. earlier this year, the agency also picked up Nokia Siemens Networks and digital learning brand Cengage.
