F5 appoints PR and communications agency

Application delivery networking technology company  F5 Networks has appointed integrated communications and PR agency Hotwire to help its expansion across Australia and New Zealand.

The appointment will see Hotwire focus on the network’s corporate messaging, market positioning, PR communications and social media programs.

Nick Flude, head of marketing at F5, said: “Hotwire stood out for its expertise in technology PR, strong B2B media relations, strategic insights and social and digital influencing programs.”

The win is the first since Mylan Vu was appointed country manager for the agency at the end of last month.

Vu said: “The use of applications, driven by cloud-based services and the internet of things, is increasing exponentially. Businesses need to have safe, reliable apps now more than ever.”havas_color_03Havas Village picks up four clients in Melbourne

The Havas Village in Melbourne has won four new clients including Melbourne-based SalesPreso, Melbourne fashion wholesaler Mesop, Digital Watermarks and Space.

SalesPreso has appointed Havas Melbourne to conduct market research and develop brand and communication strategies to support its scaling in the Australian market.

Joel Thomson, founder and CMO at SalesPreso, said: “We are excited to be working with the team at Havas as they offer a breadth of strategic communications expertise that for us, is imperative to have under the one roof.

Mesop has engaged Havas’ marketing team to support them in driving ecommerce sales through the delivery of services including media planning and buying, SEO, conversion rate optimisation and analytics.

Digital Watermarks has appointed Havas to develop brand strategy, logo, digital strategy and website and print production.

Space has engaged the agency to provide brand and communications strategy, media planning and buying and creative execution across DM, eDM and outdoor media.

Iris Capital names PR agency

The Trish Nicol Agency has won Iris Capital’s PR activity, including Iris Hotel Group and Iris Land.

The Australian hospitality and property industry group include hotels such as The Clovelly Hotel, Hunters Hill Hotel, The Bourbon, Colombian Hotels and, recently, the Hungerford Hill and Sweetwater Estate, located in the Hunter Valley.

Iris Capital is set to join TNA’s property and hospitality division.
