Pizza Hut gives people gifts they’ve ‘always wanted’ in Christmas in July campaign
Pizza Hut has launched a Christmas in July campaign to promote its new Apple Crumble Pizza.
The campaign was created by The Monkeys who were appointed to Pizza Hut’s creative account in March this year as part of a major national relaunch under new leadership.
The 15-second commercial shows a man and woman in Christmas jumpers being gifted a wrapped-up Apple Crumble Pizza.
After the man opens the present it shows him shedding tears of joy as he cries “Apple Crumble Pizza with ice-cream, that’s just what I have always wanted”.
The second ad shows the woman being gifted a Smokey Honey Ham Hawaiian Pizza as she says “Oh Steven, dreams really do come true”.
Both ads promoted Pizza Hut’s new Pizza Hut in July menu.
