Prime Video marketing leader to take on head role for Australia
Some big changes have been confirmed for Prime Video locally.
On Tuesday, the company confirmed a new head for Australia and New Zealand in Hwei Loke; its current head of marketing.
First joining Prime Video in 2020 as head of creative, Loke moved up to head of marketing for Australia, New Zealand and Canada in May last year.
Previously, Loke has worked as brand lead for The Walt Disney Company, and marketing manager for SBS.
The news comes as current head of Australia and New Zealand, Hushidar Kharas, will make the move from Sydney to the US to take on a new role as head of global Prime Video brand and social strategy.
Other changes confirmed by Prime Video include Mark Shopiro taking on the chief role in Canada and Dan Slepak in the newly-created role of head of marketplace, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Mumbrella has contacted Prime Video for comment.
