Publicis, Droga5, OMD and ZO remain in the hunt for Qantas
Publicis agencies Mojo and Amnesia Razorfish will fight Droga5 for the Qantas creative and digital account while OMD and Zenith Optimedia are in the hunt for media, the airline has revealed.
Rob Gurney, Qantas group executive manager commercial, said in a statement: “Qantas would like to acknowledge and thank BWM, DDB, Tribal DDB, Mango and Huge/303Lowe for their submissions in the agency review.”
A decision will be made on Qantas’ sponsorship agency sponsorship once the lead agency has been confirmed. Qantas is also still considering its options around further digital services.
Final presentations will be made next month with agencies starting work on July 1.

Another disaster for Qantas – not pursuing the expertise of DDB, Tribal DDB and Mango staff. Qantas stupidity prevails again!

Why doesn’t Joyce just outsource it to Asia at $5k p.a. per person and have it on par with cabin crew. Maybe even splash out an match a pilot’s wage of $38k p.a.

Hey Barb, you must work at DDB, Tribal BBD or Mango. You got to get out more. There are better agencies out there and they’ve shortlisted two of them.

Hi Alan – I don’t work for those agencies. It was wrong of you to assume I did. I just think that Qantas has made a mistake, but if you look at their history, that’s their speciality.
