Pureprofile re-launches media business Pure.amplify

Consumer research, data and insights company, Pureprofile, has re-launched Pure.amplify, its programmatic advertising, media buying and audience insights business.

The business was originally launched as Sparcmedia in 2009 before being acquired by Pureprofile in 2015. Tasneem Ali, who joined Pureprofile in March this year, will be the head of Pure.amplify.

Pureprofile CEO, Martin Filz, described the role Pure.amplify will fill in the company’s offering.

“We are delighted to add Pure.amplify to the Pureprofile family; a business that is set to put the personal into the programmatic and get to the heart of brand identity. The business will not only oversee programmatic advertising, digital and online marketing and advertising, but will also leverage first-party, declared data to provide deeper, richer ways to target consumers via digital media,” Filz said.

Ali said Pure Amplify will play an important role in the ‘cookie-less world’.

“Digital advertising is about to undergo one of the most significant transformations of the decade. In a cookie-less world, the role of independent media platforms like Pure.amplify will be increasingly essential,” she said.

“As the media arm of a global data and insights business, our goal is to help our clients discover and capitalise on vital audience data. From who an audience is, to what they value and where they spend their money – Pure.amplify provides a new level of customer understanding and actionable insights that enable marketing teams to optimise strategies like never before.”

Pure.amplify will operate on a independent trading desk. It will offer clients customised dashboards displaying key campaign metrics, proprietary market research and customer journey mapping.

Ali was most recently at marketing technology platform Freak Out where she was the ANZ lead for video supply and demand. She has 15 years experience in media trading, focusing on digital strategy.

Filz was appointed CEO in July after the departure of Nic Jones in August last year.
