Queensland Health appoints PublicisQ to handle obesity campaign

PublicisQ has won the pitch for Queensland Health’s obesity campaign.

The agency won the campaign, which is expected to launch in the next few months, after a five-way pitch process.

Jane Martin, Queensland health director of marketing and communications, said PublicisQ were chosen to handle the health issue of obesity in a campaign because of its “deep understanding and experience with behaviour change marketing”.

“Through the pitch process they demonstrated first-class, integrated strategic, creative and technology thinking, resulting in solutions that are going to really tackle the heart of the issue.

“Secondly we loved their collaborative style of working which became very obvious when we first met the team and it has come to fruition as we create the work to launch into market over the coming three months.”

Ryan Petie, executive creative director at Publicis, said the agency is excited to be working with Queensland Health to create change.

“We’re both passionate teams who truly believe that creativity can solve the world’s problems, so I can’t wait to launch our work and see the results.”
