Rafters return rates for Seven – with a little lotto help
It’s amazing what a $100m lotto jackpot can do for your TV ratings, as Seven’s Packed To The Rafters demonstrated on Tuesday, pulling in an audience of 1.5m despite not being shown in Melbourne.
The series return of The Rafters (except in Victoria where Seven chose not to play it against AFL on Nine) which also included the OzLotto draw has ended Ten’s run of winning Tuesday nights.
Last night saw Seven on 33.2%, Ten on 26.2% and Nine on 22.4%, according to preliminary OzTam ratings. The ABC was on 14% and SBS 4.2%.

I hope that Seven lose the Oz Lotto/Powerball coverage…they are always overrunning their shows. It mucks up my Foxtel IQ recordings!!! It was about 20mins late

It’s disgraceful the way Channel 7 ran 25 minutes of PTTR without an ad break, leading up to the Lotto draw. As my wife had bought a ticket, she made me watch the show and that was excruciating torture.

Ohhh such a tough life for people having to wait an extra 20mins for a draw of numbers which only two people in the country had. Get over it and stop complaining. You might do yourself and your family some benefit by actually sitting and watching PTTR once in your life. And if Seven hadnt used their exclusivity of the lotto to their advantage last night I think they would have made a very silly business decision

Can’t stand most of the Network Seven programming…the Oz lotto/Powerball coverage is about the best thing they have (maybe for not much longer). Every single day Seven runs over time on their shows (primarly in the evening), how can that be explained or justified?
Ten has been guilty of that also, mainly with Idol and Big Brother
