News readies for spring selling season with ‘This is the place’ campaign has launched its Spring campaign telling Australians ‘This is the place’ for renting, buying, selling or renovating.

Created by BWM Dentsu the 30-second ad shows people at various stages of their property journeys – including moving in, gardening, bathing outside and renovating.

“This is the place,” is the tagline used at the end of each ad.

Another ad says: “This is the place for hotplates, hideouts, high hopes – Australia’s most popular place for property.”

The third ad focuses on a family selling their house through

Kieren Cooney, chief marketing officer at, said in a statement: “Our brand needs to work on multiple levels – resonating with the emotion of buying and selling property, while also being able to be very direct and clear about the rational aspects.

“As a business, we deal in emotion. Where people decide to live, work or invest their money are some of the biggest decisions they make – loaded with our hopes and dreams.

“This is the place’ is the phrase so many of us have uttered in that moment when we’ve found the perfect home after months of looking.”
