Reborn makes four new appointments

Digital agency Reborn has made four key appointments in its senior creative, client services and technology teams.

Rapidly expanding independently owned digital agency Reborn is undertaking the next phase of business growth, following the appointments of a highly awarded Senior Creative, Client Services and Technology team. Four key appointments including Jarrad Collings, Samantha Martin, Garth Sykes and Enrico Penzo, all with a host of awards attached to their previous work, will help to propel the Sydney based digital agency into a new era of growth.

The new team includes Creative Director Jarrad Collings, who will play a pivotal role in the company’s strategic creative offering. Jarrad has been appointed after a series of account and project wins following a highly successful strategic repositioning of the agency during 2011.

Jarrad spent the last three years at digital agency Profero, having worked on brands including Pizza Hut, EA Games, Johnson & Johnson, Diageo and NRMA with his recent work recognised at Webby, Cannes, AIMIA, Award, 4A and IAB level.

International recruit, Reborn’s new Creative Technologist, Enrico Penzo moved from vanGoGh agency in Italy to start up Reborn’s research and development division as well as prototyping. He brings his learning and inspiration from working throughout Europe, into Reborn’s stable.

Enrico offers Reborn’s clients expertise in the latest digital technologies having worked for over eight years in Europe across design and information technology with expertise in joining graphic design, web technologies and advertising. He is experienced in integrating the different aspects of online experiences and interactive installations across clients MTV, Diesel, Vespa, Piaggio, North Sails and Land Rover. Enrico will focus on digital activation and experiential platforms with Reborn’s new business opportunities.

Key recruit, Client Services Director Samantha Martin previously at the White Agency will now take the reins held by Reborn co-founders Sabir Samtani and Dave Easton in securing and developing relationships with current and prospective clients. Samantha has over ten years of agency experience in directing and managing client accounts across large web developments and e-commerce sites integrated into marketing campaigns.

Samantha’s role will see her becoming heavily involved at all points of client project roll out plus uncovering core strategic needs to find targeted solutions. Samantha has worked with CBA, Lexus Australia, Biotherm, Nuffield Hospitals, Links of London, Mr & Mrs Smith, Kurt Geiger, Uniqlo, Mount Franklin, Coca-Cola and Billabong.

Finally new Senior Art Director, Garth Sykes, brings a comprehensive creative view to the agency, following over ten years digital experience across conceptual and creative designing combined with technical insights. Garth has come across from Sapient Nitro in Brisbane and his client portfolio includes Sony Computer Entertainment, EMI, BBC, Electronic Arts, Unilever, Parmalat, Virgin Blue, Tourism Queensland, Triumph and Supercheap Auto.

Reborn now houses thirty two team members and is set to take the business to the next level due to new opportunities with key clients. With recent wins and some key pitches in the pipeline, the future months will be on a new trajectory.
