Ridesharing service Ola appoints Natasha Daly as marketing director
Following its Australian launch in February, Indian ride sharing platform Ola has appointed Natasha Daly the marketing director for local operations.
Daly was previously head of retail marketing and customer at Caltex Australia, having joined the fuel company in 2015 from Procter & Gamble.
Part of Daly’s responsibilities will be to expand the service’s offering beyond Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Daly said in a statement: “I’m thrilled to join Ola and look forward to building a world class brand and team in Australia. Ola is entrepreneurial with a great culture, and I look forward to seeing what magic we can create for customers and driver-partners, as we seek to provide the best rideshare experience possible in the country.”
Ola’s vice president and head of international, Chandra Nath, added: “We are really pleased to have Natasha, a proven marketer join Ola. Natasha has demonstrated throughout her career an ability to build brands into success stories, and we’re excited to welcome her to the team as we look towards launching nationwide across Australia, in the coming months.”
Since its local launch, the Bangalore based company claims over 15,000 Australians have registered as driver-partners on the service.
A great hire Ola, looking forward to seeing how you grow in Australia
