Rising Sun Pictures’ Tony Clark joins the Academy
Tony Clark of Adelaide visual effects company Rising Sun Pictures has been invited to join the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
Clark, an Emmy Award winning cinematographer, co-founder and director of Rising Sun Pictures, was one of 276 new members invited to join the Academy.
Members of the Academy get a vote in the Oscars.
Members of the Academy are selected by their peers and only those in key creative positions in the arts and sciences of motion pictures, that are the best of the best in their particular field are considered.
Clark’s credits include Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides; The Sorcerer’s Apprentice; and Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire. Rising Sun Pictures’ have recently completed work for The Wolverine and the upcoming I, Frankenstein.
