Roadshow Films launches Batman home delivery via Blobfish International and OMD

Sampling network Blobfish International has partnered with Roadshow Films and OMD to deliver a movie industry first campaign for the new Batman film.

The campaign will see delivery drivers from Ubereats, Deliveroo and Menulog deliver food orders in a Batman branded bag with a QR code that consumers can use to rent or buy the Batman film and watch from home as they enjoy their takeaway.

20,000 Batman branded QR code bags will be part of the activation, which has already gone live in Sydney and Melbourne. Consumers are able to rent or purchase the film on their platform of choice, with options including Apple TV, Amazon, Prime Video, Microsoft Store, YouTube Movies, Google Play Store, Telstra TV Box Office, Fetch and Cinebuzz On Demand.

Roadshow Films marketing manager, Lachie Mackay, said: “We were eager to engage with consumers directly in their homes in a really unique way and the activation achieves this.”

Blobfish International CEO, Nic Cann, said: “You can’t fault the engagement we can provide to reach a customer in the comfort of their own home, one of the many new and innovative ways that sampling can engage with consumers and an industry first for the film industry. We were so thrilled to bring this fun campaign to life with Roadshow Films, especially since it’s so relevant – who doesn’t love a good movie alongside a delicious meal?”
