RyanCap’s Tightrope grows team with consulting talents

RyanCap’s business transformation consultancy, Tightrope, has made three new senior hires from Tier 1 consulting firms.

Launched in 2021, Tightrope sits alongside Foxcatcher and Ryvalmedia within RyanCap, filling in the group’s tech, data and media offerings and focusing on executing growth strategy for mature and scaling businesses.

Chris Dobson joins Tightrope as the second partner, leaving his current role as director at Accenture Song. He brings over ten years of experience in strategy consulting, specialising in business design and transformation.

In addition to Dobson, Tightrope brings two consultants to the team, Annika Chan as senior consultant – strategy and design, and Sejal Jamnadas as associate director. Chan and Jamnadas bring a wealth of growth and product strategy, business transformation, and strategic and organisational design capabilities to the team.

Headed by Stijn De Vriendt, ex-Accenture strategy director who is elevated to the role of manging partner in Tightrope, the consultancy retains the plan to make consulting talents more accessible to mid-tier clients. It also intends to make another three hires over the next four months to support its growth and expanding client list.

De Vriendt said: “I’m so proud of the team of trusted strategic advisors we’ve been able to bring together in the first few months. Every individual brings distinct yet complimentary experience and capabilities to the table. The team has been amazing to not just deliver great work for clients, but also help define our culture and our brand.”

Dobson added: “I’m excited to be joining the talented team at Tightrope. Stijn and I share a common belief in the value of combining data and design to unlock the untapped growth potential. While many consultancies and agencies offer these capabilities in isolation, it’s the seamless collaboration and encouraged diversity of perspective that makes the Tightrope proposition compelling.”
