Samsonite dumps Haystac for FRANk
Luggage brand Samsonite has appointed FRANk Media to social media and PR duties – which means Haystac moves off the business.

Samsonite Australia has appointed FRANk Media to handle the Social Media and PR for its Samsonite brand in Australia & New Zealand, effective from January 2013.
Dara Tang, Product & Marketing Manager for Samsonite Brands, said the company is very happy to be working with FRANk.
“We wanted to work with an agency that could help take us forward with fresh thinking around social media and PR. FRANk clearly demonstrated their ability to understand our business objectives for the coming years and how to meet those objectives with an integrated communications approach.

Good on Frank for issuing a media release on what would have to be a small client win, and smart move Samsonite for going to an agency that has their PR headed up by someone with only Account Executive/ Account Manager experience. You get what you pay for.
