Sara Lee rolls out first brand ad since 2011
Sara Lee has rolled out its first brand ad since 2011 which celebrates its tagline ‘Nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee’.
Created by O’Shea & O’Brien (O&O), the ad features a jaunty jingle enthusing about the various types of people who like Sara Lee.
Mike O’Brien, retail marketing director at McCain Foods said: “Sara Lee is one of Australia’s most loved brands, and we’re excited to once again showcase just how broad an appeal the brand and our products have. O&O brilliantly combined a little bit of old with a little bit of new to produce an ad that is bursting with character. Working with O&O has been a pleasure; they are a highly experienced and collaborative team, which has led to a highly productive and enjoyable process.”
The TV campaign is complemented by in store POS, digital and social media.
It sounds like it was recorded in 1937. Is that deliberate? It’s not in a good way.

No wonder they haven’t done a brand ad since 2011 – they had this from 1952 and just had to get it graded into colour.
No wonder the FMCG guys spend most of their time ‘innovating’ by changing the packaging….
