Sarah James appointed digital director at Carat Melbourne

Media agency Carat Melbourne has appointed Sarah James to digital director, coming from MediaCom in New York.

The announcement:

Carat Melbourne has appointed Sarah James as Digital Director. Sarah joined Carat this month, heading a team of eight digital specialists and providing strategic input across all Carat Melbourne clients.

Sarah joins Carat from MediaCom in New York, where she has spent the past 12 months on secondment. During this time she worked across toy and boardgame company Hasbro and on developing the agency’s branded content, mobile and social media offerings. Prior to New York, Sarah spent four years with MediaCom Melbourne.

She’s an exceptional person with a thorough understanding of the fast-paced digital arena, which has been fuelled by her experience in emerging media and digital trends whilst working in the US. Carat Melbourne has had a strong year, with several major new client wins, including Austereo, City of Melbourne,  Infiniti Cars and Bet365.
