Sea Shepherd Australia hands paid social media advertising duties to SIXGUN
Moving forward, SIXGUN will manage Sea Shepherd Australia’ paid social media advertising.
The announcement:
SIXGUN is thrilled to announce its digital partnership with Sea Shepherd Australia. The Melbourne-based digital marketing agency will be managing paid social media advertising to increase the reach and awareness of the conservation organisation’s advocacy and fundraising efforts.
The win is a particularly special one with the SIXGUN team being huge supporters of Sea Shepherd, with everyone excited to support the protection of marine wildlife through digital marketing initiatives.
SIXGUN was sought out by Sea Shepherd’s media manager who the agency had previously worked with in the NFP sector.
“Partnering with a team as passionate and driven as SIXGUN is an incredible opportunity for us at Sea Shepherd Australia,” said Kelly Dinham, media manager for Sea Shepherd Australia. “Their expertise in digital marketing aligns perfectly with our commitment to protecting marine life, and together, we aim to amplify our impact in conserving our ocean for future generations.”
David Pagotto, founder and managing director at SIXGUN said: “It’s not every day that you get to work with an organisation you’ve admired since you were a kid, so it’s pretty special when you do.”
Since its inception in 2017, SIXGUN has grown rapidly in terms of staff numbers and client wins, attributing this to its ‘dedication to data-driven decision making, innovative thinking and client focus through communication and transparency.’
Sea Shepherd’s mission is to protect defenceless marine wildlife and end the destruction of habitat in the world’s oceans. Since 1977, Sea Shepherd has used innovative direct action tactics to defend, conserve and protect the delicately-balanced biodiversity of our seas and enforce international conservation laws.
The Sea Shepherd win follows a number of client wins by SIXGUN over the past year, including Yarra Valley Water and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
