Senior marketers at Specsavers take on expanded roles
Specsavers has promoted three senior marketers including Jane Hoban and Dario Garma, who joined the brand’s ANZ leadership team.
Hoban was promoted from director of marketing ANZ to trading director ANZ. Prior to joining Specsavers four years ago, she spent two decades leading marketing at global brands such as Unilever, T2 and the Body Shop.

Garma was promoted from head of customer engagement, e-commerce and strategic partnerships to director of customer engagement. He will lead the ideation, development, and execution of the end-to-end customer engagement strategy for ANZ in the new role.
Shaun Briggs (formerly head of marketing planning) stepped into the role of director of marketing planning responsible for the direction and leadership of all marketing activities for Specsavers ANZ.
His promotion sees the merger between Specsavers’ media, PR, planning and creative teams with a unified strategy. Briggs joined the brand from Initiative in 2019.
All appointments are effective immediately.
