Seven top of the podium as 2022 Commonwealth Games Day 4 Night airs to 645K metro viewers

The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Day 4 Night session on Seven topped sports entertainment on Monday.

The program, which showed Olympic swimmers Emma McKeon and Mollie O’Callaghan in 100 freestyle, as well as Kyle Chalmers and Cody Simpson, aired to 645,000 metro viewers, while the Day 4 Evening session aired to 580,000 metro viewers.

Next, and in non-sport entertainment was Have You Been Paying Attention? which aired to an average metro audience of 581,000, while also winning all three key advertising demos.

Hunted on Ten which brought in 546,000 metro viewers, followed by The Chase Australia which pulled in 532,000 metro viewers, while Beauty and the Geek on NIne saw 497,000 metro viewers tune in.

Meanwhile, Seven News was the #1 metro program on Monday with 985,000 metro viewers followed by Seven News with 927,000 metro viewers, while Nine News had 860,000 metro viewers, and Nine News at 6:30 had 842,000 metro viewers.

Nine’s A Current Affair pulled in 660,000 viewers, and ABC News brought in 605,000.

Seven won the night, taking an overall network share of 34.1% over Nine’s 25%, while Ten took a 19.2% share and the ABC had 16.3%.

Seven also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Sunday was 7Mate with a share of 5.1%.
