Seven’s Beach Cops and Ten’s The Bachelorette pull in same number of viewers
Seven’s TV series featuring police officers in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Beach Cops, has managed the same metro audience as Ten’s flagship reality TV series, The Bachelorette.
Both Beach Cops and The Bachelorette saw a metro audience of 544,000 viewers, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.

Nationally, Beach Cops saw more viewers tune in than The Bachelorette, with 894,000 compared to the reality dating program’s 695,000 viewers.
Despite this, The Bachelorette did managed to top key advertising demographic 16-39, meanwhile The Block topped the 18-49 and 25-54 demographics.
Airing at the same time Nine’s The Block was the most watched non-news program for the evening as it attracted 921,000 metro viewers.
In the news battle for the evening Seven News was the most watched program of the evening with 988,000 metro viewers, beating Nine News’ 876,000.
Nine won Wednesday TV with an overall main channel audience share of 20.9%, beating Seven’s 20% share, ABC’s 12.9%, Ten’s 10.9% and SBS’ 5.3% share.
