Seven’s House Rules most-watched entertainment show despite results leak on Monday

Seven’s House Rules was the most-watched entertainment program of Tuesday night beating Ten’s Masterchef, despite the fact some fans already knew the semi-final results, which were uploaded on the show’s Facebook page on Monday.

As Andrew & Jono departed, the show attracted 976,000 metro viewers, also making it the second-most-watched show in the 25-54 key advertising demographic.

According to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary ratings, Masterchef had a metro audience of 879,000, however, it was the top show across key ad demographics – 16-39, 18-49, 25-54.

Also in the 7:30pm time slot, Nine’s 20 to One pulled 493,000 metro viewers, down from last week’s audience of 543,000.

Later on in the evening, Ten dominated, managing 725,000 metro viewers for Shark Tank, ahead of Nine’s season finale of Love Child, which had 532,000 metro viewers and Seven’s Behave Yourself, which had 510,000 metro viewers.

The ABC’s Diana: Seven Days That Shook The World captured a metro audience of 541,000.

It was Seven which had the most-watched news program, with 1.073m, slightly ahead of Nine’s 1.016m metro viewers.

The average audience share saw Seven win the night at 21.5%, ahead of Ten’s 17.0%, Nine’s 16.5%, ABC’s 9.7% and SBS’ share of 6.3%.
