Shortlist unveiled for 2023 Mumbrella Publish Awards

The shortlist for the 2023 Mumbrella Publish Awards has been revealed, with Man of Many, Urban List and The Guardian Australia nominated for numerous awards, among others.

Now in its 28th year, the awards, originally run by Publishers Australia, feature 25 categories across the publishing industry. This year, there are two new categories – Best Advertising Campaign for a Publisher and Best Engagement Strategy.

Man of Many has racked up 11 nominations, including Newsletter of the Year, Website of the Year and Publication of the Year. The publication joins Private Media and The Local Project on the shortlist for the new Best Engagement Strategy category.

Also up for Publication of the Year is Australian Traveller Media’s Australian Traveller Magazine, The Found Media Group’s FOUND Regional, Grin Creative’s Get Lost Travel Magazine, Peppermint Publishing Trust’s Peppermint Magazine and The Local Project.

Urban List has been nominated in four categories – Salesperson/Team of the Year, Brand of the Year and Branded Content Studio of the Year, with founder and CEO Susannah George up for Publish Leader of the Year. Meanwhile, The Guardian Australia has been shortlisted five times for Best Advertising Campaign for a Publisher, Brand of the Year, Salesperson/Team of the Year, Best Podcast (Single Episode) and Best Podcast (Series).

The Guardian Australia sits alongside Pedestrian Group for the new category of Best Advertising Campaign for a Publisher.

The Mumbrella Publish Awards are taking place 7 September at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf. Tickets are available here.
