Sibling’s managing director Mandy Galmes joins Hill + Knowlton Strategies as CEO

Mandy Galmes, The managing director of creative agency Sibling, has joined PR agency Hill + Knowlton Strategies as its CEO.

Galmes’ appointment to Hill + Knowlton Strategies comes three months after the agency’s managing director Penelope Holloway resigned.

Galmes is replacing Penelope Holloway

Replacing Holloway, Galmes will now also run sister content marketing agency Colloquial, which is a joint venture between WPP’s JWT and H+K strategies.

Prior to her stint at Sibling, Galmes was the co-founder and managing director of PR agency Fuel Communications. Galmes was also the director at N2N for seven years.

Kieran Moore, WPP AUNZ CEO or PR and PA, said in a statement: “Mandy brings that unique mix of capabilities that we have been looking for in the next H+K Strategies and Colloquial leader, with a magical blend of business acumen and communications skills that stretch across sectors, channels and regions.

“With extensive and proven agency leadership experience, Mandy is known for growing teams, cultures, clients and businesses. We’re excited that she’s made this move.

“There is a tonne of complementary skills and capabilities in the two businesses that Mandy will manage. Her new 30 strong team will be a great communications force in the marketplace.”
