Simon Corrigan launches new corporate affairs agency

Former director at Cannings Purple Simon Corrigan has launched a corporate affairs agency, Corporate Affairs Australia.

The announcement:

Simon Corrigan, long term mining corporate affairs professional and former Director at WA strategic communications firm Cannings Purple, has launched a new corporate affairs agency.

The new agency, Corporate Affairs Australia (CAA), provides the full spectrum of corporate affairs services including community relations, government relations, regulatory approvals support, and
communications.

CAA can support companies and organisations across Australia but is particularly well placed to assist mining and resources companies in Western Australia and South Australia.

Simon said he was excited about this new chapter and being able to bring his broad skills and experience to assist clients.

“I am passionate about helping companies build and protect their reputation by finding the winwin that maximises business value and social outcomes,” Mr Corrigan said.

“Starting my career in politics gave me a really good grounding in political and regulatory processes.

“I was then privileged to be part of Australia’s amazing mining sector at CITIC Pacific Mining, Atlas Iron and BHP, where I proudly built social licence and delivered outcomes for the companies and
their communities.

“Finally, working as a Director with the talented team at Cannings Purple gave me the opportunity to support some amazing clients, across a broad range of sectors.

“I believe there is a growing recognition of the value of corporate affairs support and am confident my experience can deliver valuable insights and positive outcomes for CAA clients.”
