Sling & Stone scores three new APAC-wide tech client wins

PR agency Sling & Stone has bolstered its client portfolio with three new tech client wins, taking on communications strategy and execution across the APAC region for AI solution Dataiku, HR platform HiBob and sustainability management solution Equilibrium.

The new client wins come six months after Sling & Stone opened its Singaporean office, the agency’s first new international market after being acquired by VCCP Business last year. Since opening the office, the PR agency has more than doubled its Singaporean team.

Complementing Dataiku’s mission to make AI as ubiquitous and easy for companies to tap into as Wi-Fi, Sling & Stone will manage the company’s communications strategy and execution across APAC, joining fellow VCCP Business agency Method Communications, which recently became agency of record for Dataiku in the United States.

As HiBob expands into Australia and Singapore, having worked with multinational clients such as Fiverr and VaynerMedia, Sling & Stone will handle communications and content work to embed the company into the Australian and Singaporean workplace.

Finally, the agency will handle communications for Equilibrium, part of FiscalNote, as the carbon and ESG management platform supports companies to report on their sustainability initiatives in one central place.

James Hutchinson, Sling & Stone’s head of business said: “These three businesses are at the cutting edge of massive changes happening across society — Dataiku in the rapid spread of usable artificial intelligence, Hibob in the upheaval happening in the way we work, and Equilibrium in how corporations address, report and act on climate change. Helping tell their story, and the stories of the companies they work with, across APAC is an exciting opportunity.

“After the launch of our Singapore office last year, we have seen tremendous growth and opportunity to bring global stories to the region, and tell local stories on the world stage. There is a massive appetite for challengers, disrupters and innovators to tell their stories, and we’re growing our team on the ground in Singapore and across the region to help meet that challenge.”
