Social gaming network Vena adds two new appointments

Vena, a video and social-gaming advertising network has made two new hires. Briony Clare joins as Southern states manager and Bianca Heuvel as operations and product manager.

VeNA Boosts its Management Ranks

24th January, 2012: Premium video and social-gaming advertising network VeNA is strengthening its management with the addition of Briony Clare as southern states manager and Bianca Heuvel as operations and product manager.

James Zipeure, VeNA’s chief operating officer, said the company was recording strong growth across its online video and social gaming advertising streams. “Our two new senior managers are the start of a senior talent recruitment drive in APAC in the near future,” said Zipeure.

Clare will lead the VeNA operations in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. She has wide experience working across mobile, online, video, in-game and IPTV platforms. She formerly worked for Telstra Advertising Network on relationships with key agencies in Sydney and Melbourne.  She also worked on relationships with marketers such as ANZ, Target, the Victorian Government, Betfair and Medibank Private.

Heuvel is formerly the finance director at Adknowledge Australia. She assisted in the startup of Media Run in Australia prior to the company being acquired by Adknowledge. She has five years experience in online advertising developing both the financial and operational aspects of businesses.
