Southern Cross Austereo takes ex-Seven finance boss for CFO role
Peter Lewis, who led the government inquiry into the efficiency and operations of the ABC and SBS, has been named as the new chief financial officer of Southern Cross Austereo, it has been confirmed this afternoon.
Lewis spent 15 years in various senior financial roles at Seven West Media, including two years as chief financial officer of the group, before leaving last May. He was also financial controller of Network Ten from 1990 to 1994.
Ina statement released to the Australian Securities Exchange today SCA CEO Rhys Holleran said: ““We are delighted to have appointed someone with Peter’s impeccable media and financial credentials to join the senior management team.”
The position was left vacant after the death of Stephen Kelly following a short illness.
